The West Point Inn only accepts reservations 3 months in advance for Non-Members and 4 months in advance for Members.

Inn Facilities and Their Use

The veranda and outdoor picnic facilities are open to the public for day use. The front parlor with fireplace is available for use by hikers. Refreshments can be purchased there. Overnight stays, with use of the kitchen, are ususally available weekdays and often on weekends; however, reservations are required.

The ground floor also includes public restrooms off the deck, two lounges, a large commercial kitchen and a pantry. The upstairs is divided into seven bedrooms, bath, toilet, and store rooms. Rooms 1,2 6 & 7 have a Double bed. Rooms 3 & 5 have 2 Single beds. Room 4 has a Single bed. Five rustic "cold water" cabins are located nearby. Honeymoon Cabin & Cabins 2,3 & 4 have 1 Double Bed & 2 Single Beds with spectacular panoramic views of the sunrise from their porches. Cabin One is ADA compliant, with 1 Double bed. Honeymoon Cabin and Cabin 1 both have a toilet with a sink. Cabins 2,3 and 4 share an outside toilet.

There is no electricity at West Point. Heat, light, and refrigeration are generated by propane. Candles are prohibited because of the fire hazard. Overnight guests should bring flash lights, sleeping bags/linens and towels.

The Inn can sleep about twenty-five people and feed as many as fifty. However, capacity and usage are limited by the very restrictive vehicle access, fire, and safety policies of the Water District and the Association. Most overnight guests arrive by way of the two-mile walk up the Stage Road from Pan Toll Ranger Station where overnight parking is available.

Tuesday thru Sunday - Summer 11am-6pm, Winter 11am-5pm
Refreshments and water are available for sale.
Bathrooms are always open.
Closed Monday.


Overnight Accommodations

Guests must bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow case, food, flashlight.

Cleanup is expected.

No animals.

No radios, smoking or open flame of any kind including candles and lanterns.

No cancellations, changes, or refunds.

Low season: End of Labor Day to beginning of Memorial Day

High Season: Beginning of Memorial Day to end of Labor Day.

Weekends include Friday and Saturday  

Children: Age 2 to 18 - one half of the Adult Rate.   Babies under 2, Free.

Non-Members : $50 per adult/night. ( Except Low Season  Tuesday-Thursday : $35 per person/night )

Non-Member Whole Inn : Rates are $1,000 up to 20 People.

EXCEPT : Low Season ~ Tuesday-Thursday: Rates are $700 up to 20 persons.

Member Whole Inn Rentals on Premium Holidays*: Rates are $1000.00 up to 20 persons.


No weddings, receptions, bachelor parties, no kegs, etc.
